함 읽어 보시구요. 우리 회원 2-3명이면 tour가 가능하리라고 봅니다.

 

그리고 이번 제주행도 날자가 괞찮으면 같이 합류할 지도

모른다는 의사를 전해왔습니다.

 

다음은 Robert가 보낸 메일의 전문 입니다.

 

 

"Hi Jingu,

Wow! It sounds like you had a fabulous fishing year!

Thanks for the nice e-mail. I always enjoy catching up
on your family activities.

Fishing Jeju in January is tempting. I will be in
Hawaii trying to finish a book, but I will keep it in
mind. When would I need to arrive to make the trip?
Isn't it a little bit cold for kingies?

I will go to New Zealand at the end of January and
stay through April. I had planned to fish the Ranfurly
Banks for a week in February but the trip fell
through. The Nationals competition will be from
February 17-24 and I am all geared up to kick butt
again this year.

In May I will return to Malaysian Borneo. I fnally
found someone who can accomodate small partys for
fishing the Spratly Islands. Here is the message I
received yesterday:

Hi Robert,
Just give me a call when you are about to come. I have
just fitted up my new boat "Sea Baby 2" (Bertram 33
convertible) to cater specially for people such as
your self.

The boat is designed to take 4 passengers only, fitted
with fighting chair, outriggers and equipment ranging
from IGFA 80lb class trolling to Stella and Saltiga
popping and jigging equipment. With a cruise speed of
20 knots at 2200rpm, I can reach the southern part of
the Spratlys in 6 hours and to Layang Layang in 8-9
hours depending on sea conditions.

The boat has a range of 400 nautical miles at cruise,
more than enough for a return trip to the Spratlys,
but I will be working it with a support/logistic ship,
60ft Sea Maiden 4. They will provide fuel, food,
water, safety etc. The support ship only goes at 10
knots, so they will leave 48 hours infront of the Sea
Baby 2. They will give reports on what is the weather
doing along te way via HF radio and Satellite phones
available on all my vessels. Once they reach the first
reef they will look for the best fishing spot, berley
up the area if needed to ensure the fishes are around.
This boat is designed for those who do not have time
or cannot get a b big group together.

It does not matter if you cannot make the group as I
am always ready to go fishing.
